Violin Demonstration at the Hollywood Community House!

Hello, Hollywood School parents! This is Ms. Clara from the Mighty Maestros class at the Hollywood Community House. I wanted to invite you and your children (3 1/2 yrs – Kindergarten) to attend a free music event next Tuesday, April 3rd.

Violin Demonstration: Tuesday, April 3rd: 11:15 – 12:15
Hollywood Community House
3 1/2 years – kindergarten

To further encourage my students to explore their own musical talents and interests, I have asked music teachers from A Sound Education to bring and demonstrate a new instrument to one Mighty Maestros class during each 8-week session. In addition to learning about the violin, students will also have the opportunity to participate in the Mighty Maestros class during which we will learn about the beat with a beanbag toss, explore pitch with a giant parachute, and practice rhythms on the large drum. This is a free event, but students who are not registered for the Mighty Maestros class will need to register online or call (708)704-1716. Space is limited, so don’t delay!

As the daughter of a symphony violinist, this instrument is very close to my heart, and I can’t wait to share its beauty with my Mighty Maestros students and the students of Hollywood School. Feel free to pass this invitation along to friends and neighbors!

Hope to see you there!

Ms. Clara

Riverside Junior Theater Guild SUMMER CAMP 2012

Riverside Junior Theater Guild SUMMER CAMP 2012 Registration Form

HELLO, Past, Future and Interested 2012 Summer Theater Campers-

Riverside Junior Theater Guild can’t wait to begin registration for our 6th exciting season of summer theater starring your incredibly dedicated and talented children.  Last year’s “A Magical History Tour” and “It Happens In Spring” were two of our very best and well attended shows; it will be great fun to breathe life into two new stories to perform for our community.

Attached is the 2012 Summer Camp Registration Form.  Registration officially opens on Thursday, March 1, 2012 and will officially close when both programs are full.  Please read the registration form in its entirety.  If you have any questions or want to discuss placement of your child, please give me a call or email.  There will be a box marked Riverside Junior Theater Guild Summer Camp outside my door where you can drop off registration starting March 1…423 Uvedale Road, Riverside.  If you mail your registration, send me a quick email to let me know.  Please remember the programs fill on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Highlights of this season include:

The Revue Program is FIVE weeks this year and once again producing its own show of Broadway-style musical numbers.
The Production Program is a week shorter this year because school lets out a week later.  Please review the dates carefully with your summer plans.
There will be a Pre-Camp Audition for all campers enrolled in the Production Program only on Wednesday, May 16th 7:00 pm at the Town Hall Auditorium.  Attendance is mandatory however, if an actor has a conflict, an alternative meeting can be arranged.

As always, please use the website for updates and news, www.riversidejuniortheaterguild.com.  The Bulletin Board Page will be updated weekly.

NOW…IT’S ON WITH THE SHOW!
