The Family Reading Night Planning Committee is looking for some help with decorations and a gross station. Family Reading Night is on October 29th from 6:30 to 8:30. We need someone to gather materials for a gross station. You know the kind where your reach in a box of eye balls or bat brains. Fun!! Fun!! Fun!! We also need someone to gather decorations. This should be a fabulously fun Halloween event for the entire family. If you can help out contact Jennifer Leimberer at leimberer@comcast.net.
Hollywood families and staff are invited to the ice cream social and book fair this Friday, Oct. 1st from 6:30 to 8:30 in the Hollywood School gym. There will be a Cake Walk - tickets 25 cents, a family hero art project, a Hero’s challenge, book fair and of course ICE CREAM!
Students begin visiting the book fair to create their wishlists. For students visiting the book fair today, Tuesday, September 28, book orders and payment are due Wednesday, September 29. Book orders and payment for students visiting the book fair on Wednesday are due on Thursday morning. Prompt return of book orders will allow us to fill orders promptly and reorder popular titles for Friday. Cash, checks and charge/debit cards are accepted.
The book fair will also be open after school Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3 – 3:30pm and on Friday at the Ice Cream Social 6:30 – 8:30. Come by to browse!
