Help A Fellow Student Live!
Hello Students, Parents, and Faculty,
A student who attends Ames School needs our help! His name is Ethan Tkalec, and he was diagnosed with Giant Axonal Neuropathy (GAN), a rare and fatal disorder. This disorder slowly takes away all the abilities we take for granted, like walking, writing, speaking, moving around, and even swallowing.
Hannah’s Hope Fund, the organization working to find a cure and treatment for GAN, is competing for $250,000 in the Pepsi Refresh Project. The prize money will help fund human clinical trials in 2011. This prize money will help save Ethan’s life.
We are asking that you vote for us EVERY DAY by each method below, if you can, with your parents’ permission. Please pass this along to all your friends. Anyone with a valid email address can vote.
We are currently in 4th place, but need to be in 1st or 2nd to win the prize. Please help Ethan and the other children with GAN to live! The Contest ends August 31, 2010!

Voting instructions

No additional charge to text – it’s whatever your text plan is.
2) Vote Daily on-line at www.refresheverything.com/hannahshopefund with every valid email account you have: work, personal etc. Then, press the ‘VOTE FOR THIS IDEA’ button.
3) If you have a facebook account, you are able to vote AGAIN on-line daily by logging into the Pepsi site using your facebook login. After you’ve finished voting as outlined in step 2 above, click the ’sign-out’ link on bottom left of Pepsi window. Then, click ‘sign-in’ link, and press the blue ‘LOGIN WITH FACEBOOK’ button on top left of the Pepsi sign-in window. Then, click ‘BROWSE IDEAS & VOTE’ button on right. On the top right of the Pepsi screen where the magnifying glass is, type Hannah’s Hope Fund in the search field. Vote again!
