The Hollywood Junior Girl Scout Troop is looking for donations of unwanted items for the rummage sale they are holding at the Hollywood Community House on Saturday, March 6th from 8am – 12pm. All proceeds of the rummage sale will fund the Junior Girls Scout trip to White Pines Ranch in June. If you have items to donate, please contact Jennifer Perry at 387-1393 or Martha Carlson at 387-1308 or leave on the Hollywood stage. Thank you for your support.

The PTA is decorating the front hall bulletin board with sentences about how the kids and teachers at school dream of, plan to, and will spend this year’s spring break…Let your child join in the fun! Just have him or her write down a sentence or more about what they really want to do over spring break or what the family plans to do and why it will be fun. We will be putting them up on the board next week, so please send those wishes, dreams, and plans along to Martha at mbcarlso@yahoo.com or just send them via backpack with Eve/5th grade. Thanks!

This is a reminder that nominations are being taken for the 2010-2011 PTA Board. Names of interested individuals may be forwarded to Laura Meehan (lsmdem@aol.com), nominating committee chair, or to any member of the current PTA Board. A final list of nominated people will be available at the PTA meeting on Thursday, March 4, at 9 am. At that meeting, nominations of individuals who have agreed to serving on the board also may be made from the floor.
