If you ordered hot lunch, you don’t have to make a lunch for tomorrow! On the menu: Jimmy John’s Turkey Sammy, Chips, and Oreos. Enjoy taking a break from making a lunch for Monday morning!

Hollywood is hosting a bake sale on Election Day, next Tuesday 2/2. There are many ways you can help:

- Bake a batch of your favorite cookies, candies or bars. (Please mark if treats have any nuts.)

-We are also looking for whole loaves of bread, whole pies, or goodies wrapped in 1/2 dozen packages for the sale.

- Drop off your donation Monday (2/1) after school (3:00 – 3:30) or Tuesday (2/2) morning at Hollywood School.

Please join our kids as they learn about Hollywood’s upcoming Artist in Residence program! Sonata Kazimieratiene, an extraordinarily talented Brookfield artist, will introduce herself to students and talk about her experience and the Hollywood residency at 10:30 on Monday, February 1. Starting in April, every student will be able to work with Ms. Kazimieratiene to create a small piece of artwork; the entire school’s creations will be combined to make an amazing permanent structure in our memorial rain garden. Hope you can join us Monday to learn more about the project!

Planning ahead for Mother’s Day? or Grandma’s late spring Birthday? How about a piece of your child’s art work. The PTA will be bringing back the Art to Remember Fundraiser. Students will begin creating art work during indoor recess on some of those cold and sloppy day. Students will then select a piece that will be made into a magnet by the Art to Remember company. You will have the opportunity to purchase that magnet and/or other items adorned with your child’s masterpiece. So, encourage your master artist. All proceeds will be used to help the PTA fund programs, field trips and events at Hollywood School.

Its not too late to RSVP for the Founder’s Day dinner! We have extended the deadline to Thursday January 28th 3:00 pm in order to encourage more families to attend and help us honor Brian Trimmer, Jeanie Kustok, Judy Dalton, Kathy Barcal, and Mary Kay Javors. Dinner from Back in the Day Cafe will be served at 6:00 pm. A brief PTA meeting will follow dinner.
