Babysitter’s Training 4/25/09 American Red Cross Hillside, IL

What is the Babysitter’s Training Program?
Since 1981, the American Red Cross has built a foundation of training youth to be great babysitters.
Today the program reaches about 120,000 youth nationwide each year.

The primary purpose of the American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training course is to provide youth who
want to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly care for children and
infants. Designed for youth ages 11 to 15, the course helps participants develop leadership skills, build
a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe and guide children’s behavior. Participants
also learn about basic child care and basic first aid.

Babysitter’s Training will be held at the Hillside Facility on April 25th from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.  Please call Customer Service for registration information at 1-800-337-2338.
