Dear Parents:
Be on the lookout in your child’s backpack for a packet for our Art to Remember program.. In your packet you’ll find a magnet depicting artwork your child completed during an “artist in the classroom” session at school (Unfortunately, the 4th grade artist in the classroom program did not meet the deadline, but we’ve sent home materials for you to participate at home.) The magnet was produced by “Art to Remember,” and the PTA wanted you to see one of the many ways you can transform your child’s work into a high-quality keepsake.
If you are interested in participating in this school fundraiser, you may choose to do one of the following at this time:
• Order additional keepsakes using the artwork already created by your child (the artwork depicted on the enclosed magnet)
• Order additional keepsakes using new artwork (request a blank piece of the required “Art to Remember” paper from me)
• Keep the enclosed magnet and return a check to the Hollywood School PTA for $5.00
• Return the enclosed magnet to school in the attached envelope, with no money and no obligation to purchase other items
If you are creating new artwork, use your imagination! Ask your child to imitate a famous artist, sketch ?a picture of your family, or create a card for the holidays!
Please remember a substantial portion of the profits will directly benefit Hollywood School. This money is used to fund field trips, student activities, as well as many other academic and social programs.
If you would like additional blank sheets or order forms for additional children or multiple orders, please don’t hesitate to contact me. (If you are supplying more than one piece of art, please be sure to match the order form with artwork when returning them to the school—with no staples please.) Please make checks payable to Hollywood School PTA, and return all orders by Tuesday, April 7th.
