Hollywood School PTA  

Don’t pack a lunch for your child on Monday 3/17  if they ordered the yummy Home Run Inn Chicken Tenders, Baby Carrots & Dip, Cupcake & Juice Box.

the pta is looking for 2 parent volunteers from each
grade to assist teachers and kids with an exciting
cultural arts project –

the hollywood school rain
garden!

starting this month, kids from all grades will begin
to learn about, research and design a rain garden
which will be planted by the end of the school year.

the parents should be able to be in the classroom
occasionally (a schedule will be determined soon).

you are interested in helping with the classroom
portion, or any phase, of this fun project.

We will have the pleasure of a performance from the 5^th grade band and orchestra as well as other class presentations.  Dr. Lamberson will be in attendance to discuss district issues too.  We will be taking nominations at this meeting also to be on the PTA board for school year 2008-9.  Please come and join us for a fun and informative PTA meeting.   Call Laura Tracy with ?s   485-4142

Get those orders in for the yummy Cookie Dough, Brownies & Pretzels. 

Please send orders back by Friday 3/7.   

Pick up will be the first week of April.  A more specific date will be coming home soon.

Come WOW us with your scientific knowledge and also learn a few things while having fun!  The gym will be transformed into a laboratory with many cool and amazing experiments.  Call MaryKay Javors with any questions.

 Before you stop by the gym, go on over and have a delicious pancake breakfast at the Hollywood Community House.  Breakfast will be served from 7 a.m. until noon.

if any of the Girl Scouts are available to work a shift on Saturday at the Community House for the pancake breakfast, that would be great!
