We are making our plans for this year at Hollywood School! As you can see on our extensive listing, we have a lot of activities and fundraisers planned and we need your help. Hollywood is more than just a school, it is a community. Our PTA does a lot of fund raising so that we can provide all the children at Hollywood with the same opportunities.
The PTA needs your support in whatever way you can give it. We realize that not everyone is able to make monetary donations and time is at a premium for everyone but we ask that you get involved in whatever way possible. Can’t make regular committee meetings, maybe you can help on the day of an event. Simply include a note when you sign up for a committee and the chairperson will make sure to work with you. Another possibility is letting people know about a special talent you may have; are you a carpenter, great painter, good with a sewing machine, bargain hunter, negotiator, good with a computer or a wordsmith? The PTA has a need for whatever it is you can do.
Please review the listings and volunteer to be a chairperson or on a committee. We promise you won’t be sorry you did! If none of the committee/volunteer requests fit your specialty, please contact Lisa Buffo (387.1248 / mlbuffo@netzero.net) or any one of the PTA Board Members and let them know about your special talent so they can pass on your name to committees that may need your assistance.
